Iluminando Clasicas is a website formed with the aim of providing information on electrical and ignition systems for classic motorcycles. With particular emphasis on modernization and optimization. The information here provided refers to Gilera motorcycles. However, due to the similarity in the ignition systems at that time, the contents can be extrapolated to almost any classic motorcycle of the 50' to 70'.

Tutorials

The information on this site is divided into two tutorials first (see Technical Information ) contains basic information on the operation of charging systems, ignition and lighting. The second one (see Modernization Tutorials) explains many reforms to modernize and optimize the ignition and lighting systems. The Gilera 150 Supersport was one of the most significant models of the brand in my Country, and as such leaved a mark on the hearts of the Argentines, but also shows a healthy time of the local industry.

His goal was to be an affordable and accessible bike with excellent performance for those years. And it did complied with those premises!. Actually, after some time, becames a classic, and almost without fear we can say that also turned into a cult bike, especially for those who might live -in majeure or less-, in an era of progress and development in our country's industry.
